REQUIREMENTS:

Our organization is open to any student in the California State University, Fresno campus. We do not distinguish between race, ethnicity or background. Come see what H.B.S.A. is all about. All we ask from our potential members is to have a sincere interest in the organization.

BENEFITS:

H.B.S.A. is committed to providing its members with the required practical skills and knowledge to confront whatever obstacles they come across. We provide various activities that help members develop both professionally and socially.

WHAT IS THE HISPANIC BUSINESS STUDENT ASSOCIATION?

HBSA is a 36-year-old student organization at California State University, Fresno committed to be the premier organization on campus and the community. The organizations’ goal is to prepare the young professional students for success in the classroom while building the professionalism they will carry into their respective professions.

WHAT DOES HBSA STAND FOR?

The Hispanic Business Student Association represents Leadership, Professionalism, Excellence, Tradition, Education, Family, and Community.

HBSA’s tradition and commitment to the development of our communities is represented by the member’s continuous volunteer service through endless activities and partnerships such as:
• ESL Motivational Conference with Upward Bound at CSU, Fresno
• Girls Night Out and Boys Night Out with Boys & Girls Club of Fresno
• Kids’ Day News Paper Drive for Children’s Hospital Central California
• Light the Night with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
• Ruiz 4 Kids with Ruiz Food Products Inc.
• Trick-or-Treat for Cans food drive with Community Food Bank

ANNUAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP AND AWARDS BANQUET

HBSA and its members thank you and your company or agency for your time, support and commitment to student success. HBSA also invites you to be part of our annual Scholarship Banquet. The purpose of this event is to recognize the outstanding achievements of students in the presence of parents, faculty, and community leaders such as yourself.
